Fell's Point Fun Festival
The Fun Festival is an annual event held the first weekend in October in which hundreds of thousands of visitors swarm the streets of this tiny historic community. The Fun Festival is sponsored by and for the benefit of: The Preservation Society, a nonprofit organization promoting the preservation of Baltimore's 2 historic waterfront communities - Fell's Point and Federal Hill.
The 2010 Festival will be the 44th annual outdoor street festival held in Baltimore's original deep water seaport, Fell's Point. The festival was originally started as a way to raise funds and draw attention to Fell's Point when the area was slated for demolition due to highway construction. The Fell's Point Fun Festival continues that tradition, showcasing historic Fell's Point, it's businesses, its charming 18th and 19th century residences, and Baltimore City life.
For more information on the Festival, visit the Preservation Society's web page.
This documentary was funded and produced by Tonal Vision as a public service to this community.
