Celebrate with the Preservation Society the
1797 Incorporation of Baltimore City

Dedicated to Tom Ward and Robert Eney Founding Members of the Preservation Society

To mark the 220th Anniversary of the Incorporation of the City Baltimore and the long history of diversity in Fells' Point The Preservation Society is sponsoring a series of four lectures that highlight and expand the history and achievements of the African American Community in Fell's Point from the city's incorporation to the eve of the Civil War.

This lecture will be Ed Papenfuse speaking in depth on the history the African-American Community in Fell's Point from the 18th Century to the Civil War.
